1. Reservations and Contract
Upon booking, guests will receive a confirmation email outlining reservation details. A valid ID and a signed rental agreement are required to finalize the booking. Payment must be completed within the specified time to confirm your reservation.
- Check-in: From 4:00 PM. Self-check-in is available using smart locks (instructions will be provided).
- Check-out: By 11:00 AM. Late check-out can be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability.
2. Payment and Deposit
A security deposit is required for all properties.
- Apartments: 300€
- Villas: 500€
- Stays longer than 30 days: one full month’s rent, payable in advance.
The above amounts will be indicated during the booking process. The deposit will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the property.
- Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and bank transfers.
- Security Deposit Refund: Refunds for the security deposit will be processed within 7 – 10 days after check-out.
3. Additional Fees
Additional charges may apply in certain circumstances, such as:
- Late Check-In: If arriving after 9:00 PM, an extra fee will be charged.
- Cleaning Fee: All bookings include a cleaning fee. Any excessive cleaning required may incur additional charges.
- Pets: Pet policies vary by property. If allowed, there may be a pet fee. Please confirm during booking.
4. Payment Provider Fees
Please note that while we refund the full amount of any deposits or payments, some payment providers may apply transaction fees or deductions which are outside of our control. We are not responsible for any fees charged by banks or payment processors.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Flexible Booking Rate:
- For stays of less than 30 days;
- cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in will be fully refunded
- cancellations made 14 days or less before check-in will not be refunded.
- For stays of 30 days or more;
- cancellations made more than 60 days before check-in will be fully refunded.
- cancellations made 30-60 days before check-in will be refunded with 50%.
- cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in will not be refunded.
- For stays of less than 30 days;
- Non-Refundable Booking Rate: Cancellations are non-refundable.
6. Property Care
Guests are responsible for:
- Damages: Any damage caused to the property must be reported immediately. Costs may be deducted from the security deposit.
- House Rules: Please respect noise restrictions, especially between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM, and ensure garbage is disposed of appropriately.
7. Liability
- Guest Safety: Viva Costa del Sol is not liable for injuries, loss, or damage during your stay. Guests are responsible for personal safety and belongings.
- Property Condition: If there are any issues with the property, guests are required to inform Viva Costa del Sol within 24 hours of check-in.
8. Data Protection and Privacy
- Data Collection: We collect personal information such as name, contact details, and payment information for the purposes of managing bookings and complying with legal obligations.
- Use of Data: Your data will be used solely for booking management, communication, and compliance purposes. We will not share your data with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Insurance
It is recommended that guests have travel insurance that covers cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal liability.
10. Termination
Viva Costa del Sol reserves the right to terminate the contract if:
- Breach of Terms: Guests do not follow the agreed-upon terms.
- Illegal Activities: Any illegal activities or conduct that could damage the property or neighborhood.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and any disputes will be handled in accordance with local jurisdiction.
12. Dispute Resolution
- Resolution Mechanism: In the event of a dispute, guests may contact Viva Costa del Sol to seek a resolution. If no agreement is reached, guests can use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform provided by the European Commission: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
